Description
To contribute to the evolving urban fabric of New El Alamein City is a privilege for any architect. This project involved the furnishing and styling of a three-bedroom summer residence designed for a young family living abroad — a couple and their three children — seeking a refined yet comfortable retreat by the Mediterranean coast.
Although the apartment was delivered fully finished, several elements were carefully revisited and refined, particularly within the paint finishes and bathroom detailing, in order to elevate the overall spatial experience and align it more closely with the client’s aspirations. Having become accustomed to the highly advanced lifestyle standards of the Gulf region, the family requested the integration of a comprehensive smart-home system, allowing seamless control of lighting, climate, electronics, and security throughout the residence.
The interior approach was guided by a balance of elegance, functionality, and cultural sensitivity. Particular care was taken in the selection of furnishings and accessories to reflect the family’s conservative values while maintaining a contemporary and welcoming atmosphere suited to modern family living.
